I received a call from Mrs. Boyd (Roger Gabriel's cousin) last Wednsday or Thursday that "Gabe" had passed away. I was going out of town for week end and could not follow up on it right away. Mrs. Boyd promised to send me details later.

Today, I looked up his obituary published by the Herald Tribune -- which is below. Please inform group if you can.

Roger V. Gabriel, 82, of Venice, formerly of Chicago, Ill. died Dec. 9, 2011.
Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Lemon Bay Funeral Home and Cremation Services Englewood Chapel.
Survivors include his cousin, Antoinette Boyd of Sebring.
